With my eyes, it's kind of hard to tell how much thread is left.
May want to wire brush and try a quick reassemble, tightening to 18 ft.-lbs. (or 2.5mgk) and see if they hold up.

Yeah, Let's loose those forks (at least the lowers)IMHO. There are more to be had.
Something caused some pretty scary corrosion there. You must think about the
steel bolt inserts too. Keep up the good work!

i would loose the fork lowers, in favor of new ones. the strength of the metal would be in doubt with that much corrosion

yes they are going but they are hard to find in the uk
