I'm sooooo looking forward to this international adventure again!
The trike and I are traveling solo this time.
Without a doubt, though, the QEW isn't going to be a part of my route in Canada this year.

Without looking at a map it starts with a route 20 W shortly after I cross the border at Niagara Falls.
edit after looking at my AAA map; Then as that same route continues westbound, the route number changes several times ( 20 to 65;to 52;to 99) as I progressively get closer to Paris.
Last year, I was following my buddy on the expressways in Friday afternoon traffic. 3 lanes wide at 70mph was unnerving!
We got separated by a truck, and he was off an exit ramp before I realized it.
My buddy isn't riding along with me on his Road King this year.

might as well have gone to the nut house :IDTS: with that crowd & doesn't get any worse than day shift ending fri   crying1 :drunk rush hour, in or around the conrete jungles, +,

you're also talking a major international border crossing deal nearby,

you don't see your type ride (no wheel fenders) in this neck of the woods (& I"M TALKING THE WHOLE COUNTRY) period, i wasn't even sure if you would get in & hopefully it wasn't just blind luck crossy.gif dancr :crosso car1

Yeah, I was worried last year that it and I might be turned back at the Border.
No law enforcement person questioned the legality of my fenderless ride crossing into Canada, though. Nor any time before I returned to the US.
(I believe the very visible method of lashing my quad cane crossways, directly behind my seat has its benefits, too. ;) :oldies )
Other than looking at my Enhanced NYS Driver License, the agent at the very busy Rainbow Bridge crossing into Canada asked me if I knew my license plate number. I handed him my NYS Registration and Insurance documents instead of getting off. He waved me through.

I returned to the US on Saturday afternoon, crossing the hardly busy Border at Lewiston. The young man agent took my license, asked me where I was coming from, and wanted to know what the rear axle came out of. Paris CVMG Rally, and 2002 Chevy Blazer. He said ok. That's all. tumb2

not sure when the meet will be. We will be on site all day on Friday and Saturday. No plans have been made yet, but Rat and Cyborg arrive this afternoon, so I'm sure it will be on the discussion agenda. Stay tuned .....
