I'd be interested in this dipstick for my GL1100. Being a Brit,my sidecar is on the left,so its almost impossible to see the oil level through the sight window.
What is the cost?

At this point they cost $55 plus shipping. I engineered them so as no modifications are needed to the bike or the engine, and the oil can be drained without removing it from the bike. High quality metal, chrome plated, will not rust

Yeah. As long as you know how deep the oil is supposed to be on whichever stand you choose and you are consistent it should work.

I made mine specifically so that I wouldn't have to put the bike onto the centrestand just to check the oil. A few years ago I added a sidecar and converted to a Drag Specialties dipstick (until recently the only one made that didn't leak all the time). If I was doing it now I would get one from WingNovations.

BTW: Sorry for not answering this earlier. Sometimes forum notifications don't make it to my inbox.

Well.....I don't know. The raw material price has increased some...interest seemed to fall off. I never say never,...so maybe

I haven't checked lately, but a guess would be around $85 plus shipping

Very reasonable for a custom part.

Any chance you are going to the Paris Ontario bike event in June?
