I'll be riding Friday. Probably get in Paris verrrrrry late afternoon. Most likely,5-ish at the earliest.
I still have your telephone number in my personal cell phone contacts list, Ascot (Pete).
If it has changed since last time we met, please send me a PM.

Heading back to Syracuse, NY early Sunday morning.
The Trillium Run, early Saturday morning, with Sandy and whomever else is going on it, is the big draw for me. Starts at 9am.

I'm not sure whether that is an early pre-registration bonus for the whole weekend CVMG Paris Rally attendees only, or not. :?:

I did pre-register for the entire Rally weekend, online, just in case that is a requirement. :-D

A few of us are meeting for breakfast Saturday morning before the Trillium Ride.

Restaurant called Angel's in Cambridge on the west side of Hwy 24 (Hespeler Rd at Sheldon) a couple of blocks south of the 401.

Meeting there at 7:00 AM and heading for Paris at 8:00.

Gord (weather as promised) Jones

dunno how they scored that prime spot, i walked into the entrance and there they were a few steps to the right,

i later toured the vast grounds on the black vetter equipped 79 (for sale btw & humming) that also happened to be my first gl1000 putt, felt real good even idling about, having a quick look at loooooootsa stuff

GWs were all over & there was plenty of interest where we were, particularly the trike, 1 dude said he has 5 & wasn't aware of this site

all were encouraged to say hallo here,

a marvelous event all around

What can I say? I had an absolute BLAST this trip to Paris!! I got to ride the Trillium Run with 4 fantastic fellows, then sat under the NGW Club canopy for several hours chewing the fat with my brothers in GoldWingdom. dancr
I still think it's a hoot that I had to ride 240 miles to see in person, for the very first time, an early, stock example GL1000 running and riding!
Then I got the traveling bug to head home.

Although I had expressed reluctance to utilize the high speed Canadian interstate system, I put on my big boy pants and hauled butt to the Canada/US Border on the QEW. Actually, the sheer volume of Friday afternoon traffic last year at rush hour was the factor that kept me away from it this year.
It and I arrived home about midnight. I pulled into my driveway 3 hours after my wife's imposed curfew had expired; sundown. She was thrilled I was home, though.
The trike never gave me even a hint of trouble there and back. It has proven itself worthy. (The 'new mufflers' had a lot to do with it running like a hot rod now :-D )
Perhaps I'll make the epic journey to Paris again next year, too. ;)

Had a great time at Paris this year. Man, it was hot ! Finally got to meet the legendary Cliff. What a sweet trike he rides. Great to see Gord(Rat), Doug(Cyborg), Sandy, Pete(Ascot),John(82 Aspy) again , and meet many others who were aware of the NGW site and stopped by to chat.
