We are stuck in Edmonton. Ford f250 engine spins but no fire. Wheels on the Ford DO NOT go round and round

I know a few of my high school friends used to say fix or repair daily, found on road dead, or forget on race day. Hope all that’s not true, I have a Super Duty I’m trying to not replace!

Unfortunately it is the high pressure fuel system that is trashed and 16k Canadian to replace

$16000 Canadian is a lot for a pump.

It is a cp4 system. Apparently the whole systems craps out with some bad diesel from what I can see they have a high fail rate. Apparently there is an after market system available from S&S diesel. But when you are stuck 4000 miles from home and at the Ford dealer..

The last Tranny my Tundra Blew I was on the road and at the mercy of a dealership. 4 grand like 20 years ago and that HURT!!

Reservation made by website, got a much cheaper rate than $75/day. I would NOT recommend calling their #.

Earl, would you mind sharing the rate you got, I tried contacting them, but they now say they don’t ’recognize' my reservation number …

Did a quick search for Days Inn Morehead, KY Sept 9-13 on Hotels.com and this is what I found.

I used their actual booking site, found in the first post of this thread. They don’t seem to answer that phone #. The one time they did answer, they couldn’t access their system claiming no one could login.

Wow! Those are good rates. Last year, when I booked the place, I had to negotiate to get the NGW rate. Prices have come down since then. Hope the hotel quality hasn’t gone down. There are a lot of hotels at that I-64 exit… maybe competition drove prices down. Our free enterprise system at work!
Still convenient location, good restaurants, close to a good breakfast place that has biscuits and gravy that even Ken will like!

I’m going down on Monday to check the place out again and put together some ride routes. Only about 2 1/2 hours away for me. Looking forward to seeing you all in September!!

I got that rate using the website, but only selected leaving Thursday morning. So I tried calling the hotel again and they picked up first ring..He made a note in my file that I was staying until the 13th so all set now.

I rebooked at the new, lower rate, $20/night cheaper than it was last October
