Things are looking a lot better for me than they have been for the past couple of years. Wife's health has been fairly stable with no hospital time this year. Bike is mostly ready except for a small seepage from the fork seals. Trying to add a backrest to the stock seat for some extra comfort. Been using a Corbin with heat and backrest but it is very stiff and hard on the backside after a couple hours. Also going to talk with a riding buddy about coming along. Nothing set in stone yet but very hopeful.

Trying to call the Travelodge and keep getting a busy signal. Still not 100 percent sure but have to make some plans.

I just got an email from Travelodge saying my reservation was cancelled. I tried calling but keep getting a busy signal. Anyone else having this problem?

Not a good sign. I have not been able to get past the busy signal and my email to them has not been answered.

I have a confirmation email from last November when I reserved a room for CYBORG and I … I’ve sent them a request to confirm … will report if they respond.

BTW … Doug can’t make it, so I’m looking for a roommate … if the place is still in business …

It so happens I was down there today planning ride routes and decided to stop in at the motel.
The bad news was the sign on the door,
"CLOSED FOR BUSINESS"
The good news is that I set up a new location for the rally which is 8 miles south from Parkersburg on Highway 77 exit 170.
Other motels in Parkersburg were expensive or down in the city proper.
The new location is:

Not sure how that would work out. I can't leave home till Tuesday morning. Did you get a cancellation email?

I did not get a cancellation notice, but out of business would explain that.
I’ll be arriving Monday and leaving Thursday, so I better make the reservations.

Just made my new reservation, glad I looked at the website today because I didn't get a cancellation notice either.
