Tastefully done! You have good vision. It all flows together very well. Did you draw or render this out before you did it?

Thanks Gents.
Maybe some detail on how you cleaned up the edge after the cutting.

I let those pictures get away. Honestly, using the small worn out cutoff wheel made for a very precise inside cut. I marked the masking tape with a pencil line and followed it. The smaller wheel keeps the cut from a runaway straight line and follows the curves easier. Any waviness (is that a word?) in the cut can be corrected with a quick block sand to the edge. To eliminate the "laceration factor" on the edge I used 150 emery cloth on a flexible sanding pad being careful not to let the abrasive touch the 30 year old chrome. I will chrome polish the fender and hit the sides for rust protection. I hate typing.. I'll do another one and take pictures

I used the CL350 photo as a guide for proportion, made my markings on making tape and went easy on the coffee

Pretty inventive concept using nothing but period GL stock. I certainly learned something new about what is possible.

...submitted for your approval.....
the CONDOR

I retained the patina on many of the plastic parts on purpose to keep 'age' in the presentation. I have put about
60 miles on it (no leaks). Passers' by ask, how old is it ?. Great conversation starter.

I used a local saddle maker to make the name badge out of leather.

Now I want another GL to do that kind of thing. Love your color choices and the detail you put into that bike. I must finish the LTD before I start another one. Next will be a custom for me. You have inspired.

My vote BOTM. You're an artist as well as a craftsman! That bike's so sweet it "brings a tear to me eye"

Looking Gooooood. I really like the way the paint shows off the frame. I always thought the frame was a strong point of the GL. I agree this is a future BOTM.

Thank You guys, that means a lot when you consider all the great projects that have passed thru, and are going on in this forum. I had Her out for a shake down before I took the pictures... Man I love this bike ! She fires right up and loves to go. Lights work, gauges work, nice exhaust tone, all is right with the world.
