Im looking at tires for my 1980 GL1100 and I notice that my rear is a 130/90 16 and the front is a 110/90 19. SO can I asume that the PO swaped out the rear origional 17" rim for a 16" from a 82?

at nearly $300 for the pair, that was a lot of money at the time. At my first church as a pastor I started at less than 1K a month

If the aftermarket wheels are made to fit a wing, it is a simple replacement, Hopefully this thread helped you know the differences between the 75-77 fronts and the 78-9. Any rear wheel that is for a GL1000 will fit all years.
