Just converted my new-to-me GL1100 to EFI

#1

Post by thesteve »

Unfortunately I can't post in the Unique Carburation forum yet, but I just got my Megasquirted GL1100 running last night and took it for a ride!

Will post pics as soon as I have privileges to do so.

So far I've only ridden it around the block a few times, but it runs quite well for being nearly untuned. It idles nicely and I'm looking forward to getting it tuned better over the weekend.

Will do. I'm about to grab the laptop and go out for another quick tuning run. Will see about getting the build thread posted tonight.

No progress tonight. Somethings wrong with my USB-Serial cable and I'm getting disconnected from the MS every 30 seconds. I can't get any datalogs out of it. On the plus side, this should be my third post so I think I can now post the build thread.

Got the thread up in the unique carburation forum. I'm resizing all of the pictures there now, I should hopefully have them all uploaded soon so the thread is readable.

Bike is running great!
