Yep, it is a real LTD, badged and all.
Both were sitting in this guys yard for over a decade when he decided that they were too heavy for him to hold up safely.
He now has a Yamaha low rider bike.
I watched them for a year and finally caught him at home and asked it they would be for sale.
He said yes they were and preferred that both go together which was what I wanted anyway.
$400 for the pair as non-runners.
The trailer is built from a camper frame that I bolted 2X8 pressure treated planks to.
The deck is 14ft. and I have had loads exceeding 2.5 ton on it with no problems.
The trailer cost me $100 for the frame and $180 for the planks and bolts.
My daily rider is a '79 CX500 Custom that I found in a local barn and paid $200 for and it took me about 5 years to make it a safe runner again on a shoe string budget.

I like your style! Welcome to our little corner. Sure appears as though you'll be among kindred spirits. Looks like Harley bags fitted to that LTD.

You just cannot go wrong there. An LTD too. Does it have the toolkit?

Check all the numbers on that LTD to be sure it is real. Frame, engine, carbs, final drive, all have specific numbers for the LTD. Good find if it is the real deal.

Well, I did look under the panel for the fuel tank and found the original GL1000 Owners Manual along with a complete tool kit and some brand new plugs.
I do not have keys for the LTD yet but will either receive them from the PO or have them made by using the cylinder code.
