Many of you had 2 wheeled creatures follow you home. Yesterday was my turn.
I did a tangle for this some time ago and this followed me home.

You're talking to a guy who, on a daily basis, has to stop himself from selling all of my current bikes to I can buy one of those.

a bike dealer here has had a valk on his showroom floor for 2 years at a reasonable price and can't get rid of it..

It is a strange beast in a lot of ways. It is basically a stripped down 1500 wing. The motor is from the interstate model without the reverse. I feels way heavier than my 1500. Looking at it, the motor seems to be mounted higher up from the ground, and then the fuel tank brings the centre of gravity up higher too. Everything is super accessible, timing belts could be done in half an hour, and you would have all your knuckles left.

Nice! I wish one would follow me home! I came very, very close to buying one new in 2001, but couldn't bring myself to finance a 'toy.' It really was of of those 'fork in the road' decisions. I sometimes wonder...

Not sure. I checked his website and he doesn't have it listed..he still had it the last time I asked him though.

Good on you, Liam. It is an easy motorcycle to love. As to the unsold one in the dealership in Nova Scotia - That’s a mystery. And a bumblebee too!

As folks might recall, I have a special fondness for the bumblebees. By the way, they only came in standard trim. I added the tourer trim to mine. The only way I would ever sell this motorcycle is if I could no longer hold it up. Hopefully that won’t be for a while.

Mine has a few issues. Nothing unusual for me as just about everything I have was bought as a fixer upper.
My pictures are not so good, but you can see that the valve covers are from a 1500 Wing.
Apparently it was involved in a slow speed fall over onto the right hand side, which damaged the cylinder head housing.
This was replaced by the seller using a 1500 head, and I also got the rest of the donor motor.
The rocker covers from the 1500 motor were fitted as the original chrome one on the RHS was damaged.
I am on the lookout for an original chrome rocker cover, and a set of engine bars.

Life is all about these 'forks in the road'.
I saw this one in a bike shop after I came back from my trip in January.
It was hidden out the back and being worked on at the time.
I was at the shop counter and I saw a Boss Hoss parked on the shop floor which I could see through a doorway behind the counter.
I asked the guys if I could look at the Hoss so they said come on in the side door.
When I walked in the side door I saw the Valkerie I got stopped in my tracks.
We got to talking about it, and to be honest forgot about and never got to see the Boss Hoss.
Deal was done, I told the guys I couldnt handle taking it on for a few months, they had no problem with that, so I paid over a deposit.
