Thanks. Spring can’t come soon enough.
The original tail light is oblong & chrome, and looks a bit too modern for me. Replaced with a round unit.
Sorry, not sure why the photo is sideways?

Re: Janus motorcycles
Janus offers bar end weighs. They’re made of stainless. Cool, but a bit too modern looking for me. Ended up machining a set out brass. Thinking they might tarnish over time. Still need to decide what to make the hold-downs out of (Delrin, stainless, aluminum or steel).

Re: Janus motorcycles
Thanks guys. Took the bike out today. Rode well, still breaking in the engine. Bar end weights really helped between 4200-6000rpms. We’re suppose to get another warm up next week; hopefully get out again.

Re: Janus motorcycles
Took it out yesterday. Windy with 50mph gusts, but temps about 70degF. Engine ran well, transmission shifted smoothly, and averaged 55mpg. Went to Centreville to go through the covered bridge, and then south to Goshen, Indiana to visit the folks at Janus. Was there about an hour, and then headed home. Great day & ride.

Re: Janus motorcycles
While at Janus; Woody (part-time, do it all employee, retired) showed me his 450 on the lift. It’s the prototype, #HM-000. Pretty cool seeing the differences compared to the current production models. He’d done some mods; among them was a 7” vintage Triumph style headlight. I thought it went well with the bike. He also showed me a disassembled 450 engine. This helped me know what to expect when I do the kick start (stay tuned).
The place was once a laundromat. In the lobby there’s a vault type door leading downstairs. Confused; I had to ask. Ends up the laundromat had fur storage and the vault door was for security. The place was buzzing with activity and they have good inventory if someone were to choose a built bike vs special order.

Great looking bike, and good pics. Are you posting with a phone by chance? I know if I don't edit my pictures before I post them with my iPhone, they come out all wonky direction wise.
