Re: My Wing
Actually pretty spot on, not bad for $15 charger/voltmeter.
But I guess it will not last as long as the Wing

Re: My Wing
Got a new delivery yesterday.
Brake and clutch assemblys from ISR Brakes, they are a Swedish company that manufactures all things brakes.
http://www.isrbrakes.se
They do look a lot more massive than I thought they were going to be, will see how they look on the bike tomorrow.
One button per assembly, with the cable going into the handlebar It is a really nice bit of kit, bit on the expensive side but nothing made in china here

Re: My Wing
Yeah sure.
I’ve added an electronic box that replaces most of the relays and fuses. It also allows to control the bike with only two buttons.
So it will work like this:
Left button
Short press left indicator
Double press lo/high beam
Long press horn
Right button:
Short press right indicator
Double press ignition/kill switch
Long press starter motor

Re: My Wing
Also got a pair of red samco coolant hoses delivered today
Last time I was at the garage I saw it was leaking coolant from the lower hose.
Might as well change both of them since I have to drain the system anyways.

Re: My Wing
Upper radiator hose was relatively easy to change, to change the lower hose I also had to remove the housing for the waterpump.
Replaced lever assys and had steel braided hoses that I also changed at the same time.
Did not check them before but apparently they are made to go straight to the master cylinder, but even then they seem a bit long. Tried to route them a lot of different places before giving up. Will probably need to get brake hoses made to fit. Also got a chance to try out more of the electronics since I wired up the brake switch(wich is needed for the setup of the electronic box).
Glad to see that hi/lo beam and also the hi beam light in the dash were working good. I know since last time that the lamps for the indicators are not working in the dash. Will have to work out why some other time.
My 3in1 rear lights do not really fit so good in the old Honda frame. There is m8 joint that could fix it but it is 11mm in diameter and the hole is 10mm, so will probably end up drilling the frame out.

Re: My Wing
Your brake lines were most likely sized for the stock handlebars. I too find the ones I put on mine to be to long, and that was with the stock bars. Now that I have lower bars on it, it is even worse. My setup has the splitter in the middle, so I can route mine a little different and not be as noticeable.

Re: My Wing
Yeah, I'll see if I'll get some hoses custom made later in the year, would like to retain the splitter to make the handlebars a little less cluttered.
Got the engine running, when I wired up the pickup coils for the ignition it would seem I wired them to the wrong ignition coils swapping the wires at the connector made the trick.
Charging system is working Going to find a way of mounting the rect/regulator there and tidy up all the cables Put on the progressive rear suspension, looking slick

Re: My Wing
Anyone with the progressive's having the same issue?
The manual states a 0.02" tolerance on each side but it just feels wrong that there should be so much play.
