No title. No lights. But most everything else is there. A retired mechanic was planning to use this to make a sandrail buggy, but never got around to it and closed his shop. I'd prefer to sell the whole parts bike but am entertaining parting it out if it's worth my trouble.
Engine turns over smoothly and looks clean - 50K miles. Transmission shifts through all gears.
"Clean" GL1100 carbs are disassembled in a box... complete. I can slap them back together, but it at least needs a new plenum seal. This is a good functioning set of carbs that came on my '78, but I opted to swap them with correct GL1000 carbs instead.
Both front brakes are sticking and need cleaned (they do move, but are cruddy).
Wheels are in fantastic condition. Tires still have some tread on them and no dry rot.
It has a Prestolite Electric ignition installed.
Gas tank is still a bit rusty inside but solid... I can attest that apple cider vinegar sloshed around with nuts and bolts works to clean out the rust. Bigger issue is that the fuel pickup lines were drilled out by the PO. I Macguyver'ed new pickup lines using vinyl fuel tubing with screened intakes and "sinkers" to keep them at the right depths. It works.
Any other Q's, just ask.
