I have seen RAT do 50 MPG plus on a 1100, and I was right beside on my 11..............42 MPG..
Sorry but RAT is more aerodynamic. Not sure how, but he is.

So after putting fresh fuel in the bike anntried to start it it seem to be back firing into the carbs should I take them out an go threw them again or check timing or any other ideas
I did replace the cam belts an I also did a timing check which it was off a lil. An it's while cranking it over to start the left side won't fire but the right side back fires into carbs
Please remove the crankshaft timing cover (under the carbs) and then remove the belt covers. Align the crankshaft on the T1 per the manual and then take a picture of the crankshaft timing mark so we can see that it is properly aligned on the T1 mark. Then take pictures of both Pulleys so we can see if the belts were installed correctly. We need to see the marks on both sides so please be at the same level as the marks when taking the pictures. You must be at the same level to check the marks or you can make mistakes.
Gotcha I think that is the problem I do recall maken sure the cams were on the marks on the side of the timing chain cover but I don't recall maken sure the crank was on t1

My secret is out….
The vortex generators are In the armpit area of the jacket … double savings, less fuel to buy and reduced deodorant use …
However those tiny generators are expensive and you need to live to a ripe old age and ride many miles to break even

I cannot tell for sure by the two bottom pics as they are twisted and with the small view cannot say the up is perfect, but your eye knows for sure so you are most likely spot on.

Burns-
1. Did you ever try and start the engine before the timing marks were aligned (like the pictures )? In other words, did you ever install the belts without having the T1 mark aligned and then try and start it?
2. When you adjusted the valves, did you ever use the T1 and T2 marks or just the T1 per the instructions. I have seen people make the mistake of using the T2 mark when they rotate the engine for the other set of tappets and this would not be good. In other words, did you carefully follow the manual when adjusting the valves?
3. Slowly turn the engine clockwise using the middle pulley nut (big bolt) on the front of the engine while looking carefully at each valve go up and down to see if you see any issues.
Yea sry about the pics it's the stupid phone. But yea the up is up an the side marks are aligned. I even rechecked the timing. But I did do a valve lash check at .006 but I can recheck those again an when I did the lash check all I did was rotate the crank over with the kick start lever an check the lash on all 4 multiple times till all valves were at the .006. An as of starting it after I put belts on I didn't cause after I put belts on I checked valve lash.
