CX500TC Wheels on a GL1000. With better Pics.

Finally got my cafe back on the road with some new mods. :-D One them was fitting some CX500TC wheels on her. Had to change out the bearings and shim the disk. Also added a new Oil Filter Conversion Kit from Randakk, a fresh painted motor, a dip stick and some other mods. Still need to do some more things before heading to Lubbock Texas. Hopefully work will not stop me from going this time.

Wheels look good on there, look better on your GL than on the CX. Later.

The CX those wheels came from look pretty good. Only the turbo version had those wheels in the states. They do look good on thunderchild's bike though.

When did the build a few years back. A lot people suggested that I put LTD wheels on to match the bike but I just wanted something more sportier. Got the idle awhile back from frankenwing. On the front wheel I used the same bearings for a GL (all balls bearings) and the rear wheel I had to buy two sets of All Balls for a GL using 2 of the 6204U bearings.

You also can use the cx500 eurosport wheels (silver) if you can get someone to ship them to the states. Or you can powder coat the wheels but it's going to start getting pricey.

Fits right on the GL original pumpkin but had to do some mods. Shim the brake rotor and changed the bearings.
