i think it was worth the effort, although putting them back on single handed i managed to scrape the bejaysus out of them - and the crash bars too for that matter, but nothing a well placed rag and another blast or two on the aerosol couldn't cure...

and this is the reason I'm painting my frame and bar's,etc. you can touch them up easily unlike powder coat
