Re: NGW CLUB Eastern Run 2020 - Slade, KY
The Ride went off with out a hitch.
Great roads, great friends, and lots of food too.
On the way home, I picked up a screw in my back tire in Northern KY somewheres. I stopped north of Cincinnati to go to the restroom. And I noticed on my way back to the bike that the rear was really low (flat). I mucked around for a bit, called the wife. Well in less than 2 hours I was back on the road. She dropped what she was doing (aka her real job) and put my spare rim with tire in the car and ran it to me.
Officially nominated for Wife of the year

We made it home with not a hitch. Thanks Bob for organizing another great event. I don't know how you managed to get us prefect weather, but I appreciate it!

Three amazing Grandsons and a beautiful granddaughter, four great kids, two crazy cats, a husband who is fun to have around and two great motorcycles, one is an 1200 Interstate currently apart being painted and a Harley. (hey, I believe in riding, and everyone should ride what they love. And I happen to have MBS)

Re: NGW CLUB Eastern Run 2020 - Slade, KY
Very little internet in Slade this year. But the riding was outstanding. Home safe in Michigan again but sure wish we could have stayed longer. So much to see down in the Red River Gorge. Thanks to all who organized and attended. Fun time.

I always carry a tire plug kit and a small dc air compressor. I wired a 12v socket into the left rear pocket to power it. Slime makes a compact one. It will get you home so you can replace the tire at your leisure. It saved my but once and that paid for the setup as far as I was concerned.

Agree on the Wife of the year nomination. Anyone who knows Greg knows Kathy is a shoe in for the award.
Bob and Kathy did a great job with all the rides, food etc. Great communication and super friendly companionship. Had a super nice time.

Re: NGW CLUB Eastern Run 2020 - Slade, KY
So who all was there? I didn't see a group picture so names would be nice. I had all intentions of making it but ran into a scheduling problem at the last moment. I really enjoyed Slade last time and was really looking forward to it again. Last year I was really pushing Bob to head it up again. I guess a third time would be out of the question.

The right sized compressor will fit in the small compartment in the top box. Mine does.
