shortening a speedo cable

shortening a speedo cable

been playing with shortening speedo cables, (throttle and clutch are to easy), and have figured it out. wondering if anyone else has done it, and how
1978 custom GL1000
1977 custom with 1200 engine
1985 gl1200

everyone know i don't do pictures. but the next time o have to do one, i'll see if i can't get some up. my problem is i work alone and it can be hard to take a picture and do the work at the same time. i was just wondering if anyone else had needed a shorter one, and how THEY got the job done
