I actually thought it was 2004 but if there is 2005 then it is the last one.Whiskerfish wrote:Brand new Dealership just opened up by my Parents house in Western NY and the have a 05 "Ruined" on display as you enter the showroom. I keep telling my wife I'd like to get a Valkyrie Rune if I had more money then sense. I have the same reaction looking at Octane's Bulldog as I do when I see a Rune. I want one....bad. That is one cool motorcycle. Thanks!

So now the GL1000, I'll stript it, first step is now to clean the carbs and here him running, it didnd run for two years.
And when its runs (and shifts) dragbike good, then I'll rebuild him.
OK guys, tomorrow a normal working day, I'am going to drink a few beers

Re: Nice
That's really weird I was looking at the pic's and thinking that reservoir really stands out from the rest of the bike and not in a good way, and then I read your comments.RAT wrote:Nice.
Maybe black out the front brake fluid resevoir so it doesn't draw the eye so much?

Re: Nice
I am sorry, I didn't mean anything by it! Other than that it is a perfect machine it's just a really minor distraction.octane wrote:Thank you Fred and thank you Vader for your kind words.

I recently picked up a 76 GL1000 that I have already tore down to the frame for a complete rebuild. I really love the Octanes bike, but im thinking that I want to build an old school full fendered cruiser with big beach bars. My question is in regards to the 16" wheel conversion. I was planing on running 16" wheels with Avon whitewalls but I was not sure if that would leave room between the fork legs for a fender. Opinions please, im taking lots of photos of my project, I may post some one day.
