WF, you'll get a kick out of this....

The Maintenance Master Chief at that Squadron met me at the quarterdeck (coincidence) introduced himself (ironic, because "we've met") and got up on a soapbox roundly chastising me that it is unsafe to ride in this weather, berating me as if I'm one of his troops, wagging his index finger without dropping his coffee cup.... Then he goes on to tell how he got caught in the rain returning from Daytona, but kept on riding though it. I ended the conversation by saying, "well, I don't ride in the snow" (then I carried out the Plan of the Day). dancr

It's on the + side today, at least for the moment. I'll try again to plow out the barn and let some sunshine in, until Sidecar Bob's weather catches up with me

If it stopped raining here I would take Eccles out to make sure that was the only leak...

Well, I would rather it came down gray than white. At least you don't have to shovel the rain..... :roll:

Gents;
Queue the music "Everybody knows the world if full of stupid people" . . . Words of reality from The Refreshments.
It reminds me of the one where a kid found a bulletproof vest. He gets his buddy to help him 'test' it. He puts on the vest and gets the buddy to shoot him with a 9MM pistol from about 3 feet away. It did not turn out very well. He did survive . . .

Went out for groceries after the sun came out. My leg was dry so the leak is fixed. It was -3c when I left and -5 when I got home and it felt colder than it did at -15 a couple of weeks ago.

-14c here this morning.

I have noticed a strange, green patch forming in the middle of our pristine, white yard for the last couple of weeks but it is gone this morning :(

The green patch hasn't shown itself here yet, but the snow is about half as deep
