massive flash flood came thru yesterday evening here in Dayton NV . I happened to be on the other side of the river when it happened where it was just raining . Coming home about 10pm all the roads close to my house north of Hwy50 are full of rocks and mud. fortunately it didn't take out my driveway just rocks and mud but it made a huge mess up here on my property. jb

We had a few days of nice to perfect.

Ten Day Forecast 99 99 99 98 97 94 96 100 102 99

full son and 1 very windy gotta love Calif.

Don't say it never rains had the CX500C Parked under a tree.

Went across town for a while and then a Super-cell came through.

wet the soil and a big gust gently laid it in some wet compost.

Not a scratch nothing broke or bent .

Man am I blessed .

Gravity gets stronger every year........used a 4in wide tie down strap

to winch it up some and got it upright.

As I remember about 1981 my GL1000 was easier to upright

after the girlfriend somehow knocked it over .

(I used to love her but its all over now)

Got free of that goof ball shortly....and they(girls not blond)

say Blonds are dumb.
What I say is based on Google and Yrs.of
experience, in the stream of time not even a
blink......So take anything I say as merely inconsequential babble.

Forecast for the past several days and for the next week here- Chance of rain and possible thunderstorms. Some storms could be severe. Wife came home from her moms last night in town. There were some streets that were flooded. We'll have sun for awhile, then a cell will come through with lightning, wind, and heavy rain.

At least we don't have to shovel the rain

But it does make the lawn grow faster and that has to be cut. I really, really want to find something better than the European grasses everyone uses for lawns but I haven't found anything that grows densely enough to keep the ground from washing away, won't grow higher than ankle deep and can survive winter.

So, did someone say weather..?
We only thought we had a lot of rain 2 weeks ago.
Looks like we'll be getting a tropical storm this week.
We get them now and then. The amount of rain they bring
is ridiculous. So today is 'batten down the hatches' day.
Gutters get cleaned again, and
whatever doesn't fit in the Man Cave gets a tarp.

94 here at the house at 10:30 this morning. Not sure where we will end up today. 98 is the Forecast for tomorrow and then a break on Wednesday. Too dang early in the season for temps like this! I think today will be a good day for some in depth house cleaning!!

I wish I could mow the yard. I had 3.1" of rain in the gauge over night. On top of the ~5" over the weekend. Flooding all over the place. Good here at home, just a very wet yard. Still calling for the same, chance of rain and thunderstorms through Friday. :IDTS:

I am driving up to Buffalo Friday for a Saturday Wedding. Will be staying at Camp with Wife and Dogs. I just hope it is not a swamp!! Mom just had new carpet put in the Trailer and I sure hope my dogs don't ruin it.
