It is -8c & sunny here today. Everyone else went out today so I don't have to be sociable so I think I'll spend most of the day in bed. I do feel a little bit better but thinking straight is still hard.

Wife is doing better. She still has the sniffles and a bit of brain fog but better than yesterday. I did all the shoveling here and at the Widow woman's house but she was with and provided moral support. She also walked both times with me and the dogs, so her endurance is improving. She really needs to spend some time at work tomorrow cleaning the Chapel for Sunday services. I will end up driving her there I am sure. Place will be empty so no fear of spreading germs.

Between the shoveling and the dog walking on slippery surfaces my knee and my hip are both screaming. Nothing else pressing so I should be able to take it easy for a day or two.

I did get my Medicare/Advantage signup done yesterday. After the research and decisions were done it only took about an hour and a half on the phone to set it in motion. Still need to do taxes.

We are finally getting some decent snow up in the mountains.
That's good because we need to build up the snowpack to have enough irrigation water to last the summer.

No snow to speak of here at the house, I rode yesterday.

Nice! Jealous !! Too far from my East Coast Family otherwise I would love to live out that way. Colorado was my last state to complete all 50. I was there on my bike trip in 19. Things go to plan I will be there again in August but in the truck this time.

I felt up to going outside for a while. There wasn't as much on the driveway as I thought but I wanted to clear it before more comes. I wasn't up to pushing the scoop around even if I could have pushed it over those banks so I ran the blower. It isn't perfect but it will have to do.
Then I got on Eccles for the first time in a week and went for the mail.
I think I'll take the rest of the day off now....

Good day Gents;
After a couple of weeks of zero and below zero weather we are headed into some warmer weather with day temps in the high 30's and low 40's. Not the best but a lot better than we have been experiencing. Hope springs eternal.
Still having serious Wing withdrawal.
Best Regards;
