I had an appointment yesterday so I got to go for a ride. It was 30c+ so I didn't wear a jacket so my arms got a bit burned.

Today it's "only" 29c so I'm mowing the yard.

Not as hot across west Virginia and Ohio. But Indianapolis is sucky hot and humid

I went out at 8 am and walked the dog 1.5 miles and I was soaked in sweat. Because of my knee I am very cautious and a lot slower so that took near an hour. Got cooled off just in time to go to therapy. Heat index for the next 5 days is still between 100 and 105. I need a one day break to cut the grass before I hit the road next week. Almost time for a NY run to celebrate Mother's Birthday on the 4th.

Seems like in addition to your mother, there is some other celebration on the 4th. Headed to the UP of MI tomorrow with the family to enjoy the weather.

And a more important celebration on the 1st (at least for those of us in Canada) :lol:

It cooled down to around 20c yesterday but drizzled off & on all day. Our rain gauge only showed 3mm but I think it was leaking so I installed a new (better?) one yesterday afternoon.

It is overcast today but otherwise nice. I might go for a short ride this afternoon to pick up the stuff I forgot when I was out Tuesday :8)

Had some clouds that gave us a break this morning so I took advantage and got the grass cut again. Only like mid 80's here but the Humidity is still ridiculous.

The overcast didn't last. I worked up a good sweat in the garden and then cooled off riding to get groceries.
