I went with 14mm cylinders, and I liked the adjustment mechanism on them as well.

Today is fire up day if all goes well. Plan to ship it out in the next couple of days. The hydraulic clutch works like a charm, and I finally got the Dyna and coil wiring sorted out....

Thanks Pony, it was great to see you at the shop, and hey! Where are all those pics you took? :)

Today was a pretty good day. After setting up the Dyna, getting the timing right, etc etc, hit the start button and she fired up.. and the best part, NO weird noises!! lol.

A couple things have changed on the bike. The owner wants the Gatling style pipes and is going to have them fabbed by the guys who built the bikes for "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo"... sigh, wish I could have found a fabricator! The other thing is I changed out the 76 carbs for 81's. The accelerator pump on the 1100 carbs is just to nice not to.

Only one $^%&#* today. A small puddle of coolant under the weep hole. (shut up Roady - You jinxed me.. lol) Always listen to Roady's advice!! Does anyone know if the 1100 water pump is the same as the 1000? I have a nice one from an 1100 (metal blades).

And of course, the never bleeding dual front brake set up. I have been working on bleeding them for the past 2 days. Time for the mini vac and speed bleeders. Everything else, and I mean everything, is a go.

That's just heresy!! I hope you get to do a final photo shoot for the rest of us wannabes.

Thanks Doug. Since I have never had to change out an 1100 pump, where they made of bakelite originally too?

Don't quote me but I think the change to metal was from the 78 model. Same pump fits right through all the four cylinder bikes.
