GL1100 Chrome radiator shields... fit a GL1000?

#1

Post by phaserburn »

Hi,

I am looking to replace my (once) painted GL1000 Radiator shrouds with chrome ones from the GL1100. Are these a direct fit?

Thanks!

Yes It's A Dead On Match, Put 1100 Ones On My 75 GL1000 And Brant Put The 1000 Ones On His GL1100... I Also Put A GL1000 Rad Into An 81 GL1100 Same Thing...

No... The 1200 Rad Is Different Than The GL1000/1100, 4 Bolts To The Fan, No Shroud Mounts, No Upper Bolts- Rubber Gromets Instead, Size Wise I Belive It Is The Same, So With Some Modifications It Could Work, But It Is Not A Straight Drop In...
