I see chum , I thought also that you only come up the the plain jpg , but in this case we include the jpeg . Anyhow thats exactly what I am looking for . I'm wandering what type of head for the 5/16 " bolts and how long . I also have to include a cross member in front and behind in my frame to mount that seat . But I guess what ever adaptor kit we decide to get , we just take the measurments from that and apply it the the seat pan we also decide to make . So RC , did you get construction plans from them also or do they just want measurments so they can fabricate the seat ? I guess if we want to make a seat , we have to take measurments off a mounting kit we decide to buy first . Thanks for the post rcmatt007 . Whta I am going to do now is yes , decide what kit that looks best suited for me , buy that one , and take measurments and procede to make my seat pan . Later Chum . ( Z )
It looks like their softail mounting kit would work the best on the wings, it would just be a matter of getting the cross peices welded to the frame in the correct position. It looks like that is B + F, or 10 inches (for their seat). Then it would be a matter of mounting tham at those measurements to fit their seat. Making your own seat pan would be placing the mounting brackets to work for your seat. My plan is to buy the mounting kit next month and add it to the frame.... the seat will have to wait until the money tree in the back yard starts to grow again-lol
haven't yet figured out how to get the pic up
