just wondering why you need to change out the wheels on your wing. I know you can look around for a cb900c wheel, they are the same comstar wheel as the 1100 of the same age. The only thing is that the goldwing for a few years (not sure what years) had a 17 inch wheel in the back and the 900 has 16" for all years.
As to the front tire the cb900c uses a tire size 100/90/19.
I think some other honda's used the same rear wheel as the goldwing, just make sure that the wheel is a shaft drive rear disk brake. If the rear dosn't follow that then you are waisting money. Drum brakes would probably be to difficult to fit onto a bike desined for disk.
Just occured to me that the cx/gl 500/650 might use the same rear wheel. I'm thinking they use disk, but i could be wrong. I know that the cx500, cb900c, and gl1100 use the same piece on the rear end.

I think the only way the wheel would fit is by swapping out the complete assembly. The one question that rises up is if the drive shaft is splined the same way. In the end its probably more money into it that it's worth if you have good wheels. If you have bad wheels, look around for other shaft drive bikes built in that age (80-83).

Blackgold, It depends what you want to do! But a few thing to keep in mind. The width of the rim will limit the width of a tire. If you’re looking to go wide on the rear you will need to trim the outer housing on the shaft. If you go real wide you will need to support the housing or elliminate it all together. The Front you can do just about anything you wish. I had a shaft made on mine and reinstalled a Harley spoked wheel.
Hope this helps.

To fit the wheels between teh 1000, 1100 and 1200 modles you will need to change teh swinging arm and rear wheelgearbox as well. Also take note of which side teh speedometer drive is on with the front wheel. Most 1000's have teh speedo on the right (not sure about teh KZ/K3), the 1100 and 1200 on the left.

If money is no object you could have some custom billet wheels built to your tastes, but, get ready for a mortgage like bill to have them made.
Why not try some paint themes or obtain some sheet stainless steel and form some original deigns that could be integrated with your original wheels. Just be certain that whatever you attach to your wheels is mounted securely and permanently so it can't fly off at speed and have your wheels balanced dynamically before you ride the bike.

Yeah, would probably be less expensive to buy the donor bike.Victorious1 wrote:If money is no object you could have some custom billet wheels built to your tastes, but, get ready for a mortgage like bill have them made
