Went for the first run of the spring here in Oregon, the run was held in the little town of Cottage Grove bout 25 miles out of Eugene. The Town's claim to fame is it was where "Animal House" and Buster Kenton's "The General" was filmed. Apparently "Animal House" had a big impact on Dave's life, he makes one hell of a tour guide. Pretty fun afternoon, although, either I'm be getting old, or Dave's BMW is really fast. I think he's still laughing about loosing me in the twisties, hiding, and then passing me at 100 plus.......Dave's a funny guy!
Kevin Bacon stood here and told everybody things were going to be all right. The bricks been redone since the movie...ya I jumped on YouTube and watched a little Animal House when I got home, I also, fell in love with a purty little yellow haired girl.
Lots of Wings not much naked cept' a 78' and my 75'.
They really like big pictures in Cottage Grove!!
Some really nice 750's attended.
The fine establishments were closed, probably a wise decision.
The streets full of bikes, great turn out, had sunshine even, great run.....was really great to see a town support such a gathering, hat's off to Cottege Grove, I'll be back next year.
Peace,
Frank

Frank was kind enough to not mention that I got us lost going home on a really nice rural road that ended up being a dead end at a lumber company gate. No warning, no signs of a road ending. Just a big gate and that was it. Had to backtrack 15 miles.
You'd think I'd know my way around these parts, but every so often, I do get lost.
Had a good time nonetheless. Especially passing Frank, hiding behind the firehouse and then pulling the old "Alan Mayer Sneak" on him.
That never gets old.
