Thanks To Those That Attended, Frenchy And Susan, Onne, Winginit2 Glenn (And Ann By Text), Weird Dave, hmratbam Ron, John, Kwixdraw Bob, Psycho Joe And Jen, Ron And Mindy, Matt, Steve And Monica, Mike, And Of Course Me. To Those That Did Not Make It, You Were Missed And Missed Out On A Great Time Had By All.
Ok The Report
Day One 6 17 2010, Meet At The Grand Canyon
Worked All Day, Closed Shop Early, Loaded Bikes And Trailers For The Grand Canyon. Headed Out Around 6:30pm. Frenchy And Susan On The 84 GL1200std School Bus With The Trailer In Tow, Onne On His 81 GL1100I, Weird Dave On His 83 GL1100I, And Me On My 03 HD Dyna ith Trailer In Tow. Between Prescott Valley And Chino Valley Had Our First And Only Major Problem, The Air Breather On My Harley Fell Off, With A Little Help From Me And A Hammer About 9 Months Ago, But That's A Different Story For Another Time. Made A Road Side Repair Of Bungee Cords, Zip Ties, And My Knee To Continue. Stoped In Ash Fork At Intersate 40 To Check The Bikes And The Loads. Headed East To Williams For Dinner, And Then North To The Camp Ground, 120 Miles Total And Got In Around 10pm. Set Up Camp, Discovered It's Not A Good Idea To Put The Beer Cooler On The Tounge Of The Trailer On The Back Of My Harley, Shook The Beer Out Of Half A 12 Pack Without Poping The Lids, That Was The Only Other Problem On Day One. Stayed Up Around The Bon Fire Till About 1am Telling Stories And Getting To Know One Another.
Day Two 6 18 2010, Ride To Prescott Valley
Got Up Around 730am, After A Cold Night On The Ground, Ohhh The Pain, Ron Had Coffie For Us All, Thanks Ron. Packed Up The Camp And Headed Out To Breakfast At Valle, With hmratbam Ron On His 81 GL1100I, John On His V-Star, And Kwixdraw Bob On His 83 GL1100I Left Valle Around 10am And Headed To Flagstaff, Splitting The San Fransisco Peaks, A Beautiful Ride. Got Fuel And Streached Out A Bit In Flagstaff And Headed For Oak Canyon, Took A Bunch Of Picts At The Vista Point Above The Canyon, And Then Headed For Sedona, What A Breathtaking Ride Any Time Of The Day, Month Or Year. Met Up With Redwood Beth And Carlos, rcmat007's Father, At His Home In Sedona For Lunch Around 1:30pm, Had A Nice Rest And A Great Time With All There. Headed Out From There To Cottonwood, Then Up To Jerome, And Over Mingus Mountain To Prescott Valley, Got Ron, John And Bob Into Their Motel Room, And To Crescent Moon Cycles, Around 4:30pm. Then To Dinner At Casa Del Frenchy Dewey. A Little More Socalizing And Then To Bed And To Where Ever Our Beds Might Be, Home, Motel, Couch... Total Of 170 Miles On This Day
Day Three 6 19 2010, Prescott Valley Days
Got Up At 6:30am To Move Bikes To The Bike Show, Got The Show Set Up And Bikes Staged. ent Back To CMC And Fixed My Bike, And Went Back To The Show, Lots Of Bike Picts. We All Spent The Day Relaxing. Finnished The Show And Took Everything Back To CMC. We Had A Pizza Dinner Party Athe The Shop And Then A Show For The Guys. Matt The One Man Band Played Classic Rock Tunes For Us Till About 11pm. btw Matt Has A 79 GL1000. 5 Miles Total Shutling Bikes
Day Four 6 20 2010, Just Out For A Ride.
Got Up And Met Everyone At The Shop At 7:30am To Head To Chino Valley For Breakfast At The American Legion Hall. We Left After Breafast 12 Bikes Strong, Frenchy And Susan, Jonn, Kwixdraw Bob, hmratbam Ron, Winginit2 Glenn, Mike, Ron And Mindy, Onne, Steve And Monica, Psycho Joe And Jen, Weird Dave And Myself. We Headed North To Ash Fork, And Then To Seligman To Do The Torist Thing. Before We Left Seligman We Said Good Bye To hmratbam Ron And John Who Needed To Continue West To Kingman And Then North To Battle Mountain Nevada. We Also Said Bye To Psycho Joe And Jen Who Needed To Do More Shoping, lol. We Headed East To Williams For Lunch, Then To Flagstaff Where We Headed South Down Oak Canyon Again. Then Up To Jerome Where We Saw The Last Show Matt Did Here Before He Is Moving Back To Washington. We Then Headed Out And Back Over Mingus Mountain, 118 Curves In 11 Miles, Back To Prescott Valley Where I Pulled Of To Go Home, SUN BURNT. 250 Mile On This Day
And This Morning I Helped Kwixdraw Fix A Few Things Before He Headed Home, Got A Call From hmratbam, That He And John Made It Home Safe
