1000 mile weekend

Post by morganfrmn »

I just got in a 1000 miles rode to south carolina from louisville ky there and back.

I came out through state road 107, it was amazing... you cant die until you have ridden
that road between NC, and SC... especially right now with the leaf color.

I made that run about 10 days ago from Laurens SC up to the Dragon and back. I was on the next set of roads west of there and ended up taking 28 up to the Dragon. Spectacular ride action1 action1 action1 action1

When I was there (13 Oct) the foliage was not quite at peak but there were enough leaves in the road to be an issue. Extra caution is called for. I did take a video from the overlook and I will try to get that uploaded to Utube.

A thousand miles in a weekend. Must not have been time for a flea market, distillery tour, or bourbon candy store. :)

I was bornd and raised in it... I have been saving up. I will have 500 dollars soon and I am going to buy me a mountian...you guys will say you cant get a cheap mountian, but I am a simple guy. I dont have to have one up near the road. It can be 2 or 3 mountians back from the road.
