forward controls

Post by hoganp »

Hi,

I noticed in the Wingmans Lounge that there's a bike there belonging to Bob with forward controls. Where those purchased as a unit or custom fabricated? Does anyone know where to get a set of forward controls to fit a GL1100. Thanks,

Pat

How's it goin Hoganp ? I'll be fabricating forward controls to my 82 GL 1100 also but not till most of this season is done . I'm getting the idea from these that are a good home made outfit ;

But I have seen some fabricated from the closes thing is Harley sporster controls , that can be adapted . I have a url that some Gent fabricated a set to a 750 honda , I'll look up and post here . But I deafinately will do this option myself . Later .

Thanks for the help. I'll check out the links. My brother used sportster controls for his 750 chopper but they didn't look like they'd mount on the 'wing without cutting them up a lot:> thanks,
