What Did You Do To Your Wing Today?
There is a thread like this over at the SOHC/4 board and I thought I would start one here. Sometimes the answer is that you did some sort of work, sometimes you took it for a ride somewhere, and sometimes you just gazed at it in the garage. So what DID you do today?
Personally, I ordered a front caliper rebuild kit and a new air filter for the '77 that I acquired yesterday.

Re: What Did You Do To Your Wing Today?
Discovered I'd made a slight error on my new solo seat tail 'buck' for the '76.
Comes from not having all the right tools to hand. I needed an angle measuring thingy, I don't even know what they are called in English. The right side was a bit off on one of its faces, but it's fixable with yet more bodyfiller....
I'm looking forward to getting it finished and painting this bike!

Very cool VW. I was about that same age when I got my first ride with my dad on his 50's Indian Scout.

Rode the 84 to work and took the long way home also, moved the 83 out and cleaned
it a bit. Not my favorite thing to do, clean them.

Re: What Did You Do To Your Wing Today?
Well, this may not count but it was a Wing. It just isn't mine. Finished up a stator install on an 86 Aspencade. Then put new fork seals and bushings in the front end. Then got to take it for a ride.
Is that ok?

I road the 1100 to work. Road to the store. Road back home. Changed the oil and filter. Wiped her down and put her in the garage.

Re: What Did You Do To Your Wing Today?
Changed the oil and filter, new antifreeze, new spark plugs, new air filter, changed the final drive gear oil, checked air pressure in all the tires, lubricated all the cables and throttle/choke mechanisms on the carbs, went for a short ride( just rained and greasy roads).
