Nice ride to Portland on the weekend.

Post by alan hawke »

Pretty much the first decent ride since april this year 450KM round trip real nice ride . Best thing was this was the first ride in my 48 years that my two older brothers and myself have ever been on together at the same time , been with them individually but never all together. Took a few pics at different stops along the way .
We all met up at Tantanoola pub my hometown .

Next stop Mount Gambier to fuel up 60 KM away.

Then on to Nelson, stopped to stretch the legs.

Then on to Cape Bridgewater .

My brothers and me i'm the one on the right.

We then carried on to Portland for lunch.

Couple of pics of the coast line around Portland and wind turbines.

Pretty much turned into a pub crawl on the way home .

And the last fill up before 70KM to home.

Nice pictures Alan. You and your brothers would fit right in with the Harley crowd :-D. I looked up Portsmouth on Google Earth since I had no earthly idea where it is other than somewhere in Australia.

Fantastic to see you up and riding again action1 action1 action1 action1 action1

I also do not get a chance to ride with my Brother much and when I do I cherish it. I have only had one full day riding with him and Dad and that was several years ago now, but we do get to spend time hunting and such. Good stuff to share your passion with Family.

Nice! It looks from the pics that you were the only wing...I rode with two of my brothers for a couple of years, but that was over 25 years ago...but my brother in law counts, right?

Yea I remember that tickle. After I had mine me and a buddy went for a afternoon fishing trip in his canoe. Well a storm came up and the trolling motor quit so we had to paddle about 2 miles back to the dock. Lots of tickles that day

When I first saw this I thought you meant Portland Oregon. Looks like you had a great time.
