might be worth mentioning try,that it is a good practice to make the exposed connections waterproof with dielectric grease.

i have used these connections before,and are excellent quality.............

Thanks Try and Bandanna , thats something I will be doing this off season is refurbashing my conectors . I usually silicone my conectors for waterproofing . But the dielectric grease would make it easier to disconect . Thanks , you learn something everyday .

I'll think it's a good idea, our electrical system need protection
against condensation and corrosion, and some Goldwing owners
have seen their GL burn down...
