Thanks. Yeah, i didn't know what to make of the bugs either as i didn't have a single bug land on me when off the bike the entire trip. The only thing i can figure it that they are hornets, bees, wasps, or whatever on the fairing as they are real active this time or year around here.
That picture is in front of the union bay campground on the south shore in the porcupine mountains UP Michigan.

Bugs love yellow. Wow, great story. Sure wish I had found it in real time. Sounds like a very special trip and certainly one I would enjoy (maybe not the skunk part). Love your bike.
