Thanks for investing so much time and creative energy in telling this story. It is very appreciated. I marveled at the picture of your fairing and all those bugs. I never would have expected so many smashed bugs this late in the season up there. Your picture of the angular rocks in the shoreline is a scene I've seen pictured elsewhere. I'd like to know where that is. A truly heroic trip to inspire the rest of us.

Thanks. Yeah, i didn't know what to make of the bugs either as i didn't have a single bug land on me when off the bike the entire trip. The only thing i can figure it that they are hornets, bees, wasps, or whatever on the fairing as they are real active this time or year around here.

Bugs love yellow. Wow, great story. Sure wish I had found it in real time. Sounds like a very special trip and certainly one I would enjoy (maybe not the skunk part). Love your bike.
