Will it work?

#1

Post by adam_mott89 »

Hey guys, I was workin on my bike tryin to get the motor back in one piece and at the very end I broke a piston ring. Needless to say I was not happy but my dad has a 1200 parts bike and I was wondering if I could swap the ring off that bike and put it on my 1000. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

If I understand correctly, the 1100 & 1200 are bored out 1000 motors. So unfortunately no, the 1200 rings are too big. You may want to check with Cyborg or Cyclepsycho to see if they have any.
