the years 85-87 make good 1200 motors for 1000 framed bikes ...they have no rear ignition set up that crowds the frame ...but you will have to go with the 1200 hydro clutch and heads ignition from 1000 to go on it ...or trade over to 1200 ignition ...lots of work but im doing it on several bikes all done different ways of going about it
