Good thing my gas won't go bad. RIP Kevin

Hey guys, I know I'm not an avid poster but I check in often. Been feeling bad for a few months and made a doctor appt for about 10 days out. I wound up going to an ER and with in 20 minutes after seeing the doc, I was diagnosed right there with Leukemia. I was rushed from small town Sewanee Hospital to Nashville within and hour. Been on solid kemo since friday night about 10:30. I have it for 7 days along with a nightly 3 day blast of coolaid looking stuff of which tonight will be the last. 5 days more of solid.

Keep my family in your prayers. We have never spent a night apart. I have a 9 year old boy and 15 year old boy and we never do seperate stuff. This has to be way harder for them than me. I'm in good spirits with good chances and I know the great physician and creator. I'm a winner either way. It's them that I worry about.

Was wondering about you recently also. I actually was looking for something else and stumbled on your build thread just a couple of days ago.

Terrible news but at least you were smart enough to be proactive and seek help. So many of us just try to tough things out and that is just irresponsible to those we love in this world.

Sounds to me like you have a lot to fight for. Keep your chin up!!!

You and your family are in my prayers. I know that sense of peace. Its a great feeling to leave the outcome to someone greater than ourselves.

Missed you around here. I was afraid you'd given up on riding after your accident. I will keep you in my prayers. I watched my niece go through it six years ago. It's a roller coaster ride usually, yeah for your family, but for you too. Keep Faith.
Whatever I suggest here should be given ample time for a moderator to delicately correct. I apologize in advance.

I've missed you! You're the kind of 'crazy' I like. A guy that will strap a propane cylinder to a GL just to see what will happen. You've got spirit, a good outlook and a great family. Full speed ahead!

Bummer. I know what you are going through. I have been on kimo since September, not fun. I don't have what you have. But I don't feel lucky. Fight the good fight, and never give up. Kind of off topic, but I died in ICU after surgery. Want to know what it feels like to die? It was great! Honest. All your troubles went away. It was dark as in black. No bright lite. But the first thing I remember when waking up was I cant wait to do it again. Strange isn't it. But it was better than sex. Good luck! Prayers sent. You are not alone.
