#1

Post by adam_mott89 »

hey guys i've been looking around for a complete gasket set for my 78 gl1000. I can find the complete set on ebay and saber cycles. But I saw somewhere that the saber cycles gasket set is wrong, and the one on ebay seems fine. but i was wondering where yall would go to get it.

thank you for any help I recieve

Here's what I bought, working fine thus far. Some folks would say to stick with OEM headgaskets though.

SCI carries good quality products so, you can do OK with their set. I agree with the comment about OEM head gaskets.

I think this is a Vesrah kit, but you should call and ask.

I think I'll try some OE Honda gaskets....I've just realised I've blown one on the rig.

I’ve been putting a 1980 gl1100 together for 2 years and every time I get some after market o rings or seals they don’t fit or they start to leak, I would recommend to ask Randdak if he has them or who he recommends, stick with the pros
