You do not need to remove the rubber inserts in the rear wheel....they will take the heat of powder coating.

Made a simple tool to knock out the rear wheel bearing behind the threaded retaining collar. A piece of 3/4 tubing. Threaded the inside for a bolt. Sharpened the bolt a little on the belt sander. Split the tubing with my sawzall. Look at the pictures, let me know if you need more info. When I tightened the bolt into the tubing the tubing spread enough so I could smack it with a hammer. The bearing came right out.

I sure am tempted to take out these Mickey Mouse rivets that hold the wheel together and replace them with aircraft quality bolts. I think I'll just send the wheels to the powder coater as is. I got good advice on the rubber cushions withstanding the 400 degree powder coat oven. If they don't They may be easier to take out anyway.

I welded a couple pieces of scrap tubing to the GoldWing frame with the bike set at the ride height I want. Now I can take the front end apart and build the bike knowing my my horizontal line are all parallel to the ground I also checked to be sure the front wheel had zero camber.

The bike was still a little wobbly, so I welded the legs to my table. Now I can build the bike!

Front tire turned out to be much easier than the rear.

Getting down on the floor and wrestling with a stubborn tire is not my idea of a relaxing evening.

The front wheel bearings came out easy. I can take both weeks to the powder coater tomorrow!

Does anyone have a template for laying out a hole pattern on brake rotors?

I know it may be hard for you all to see it, but I see something here that I really like. Can't wait to get a little more done so my vision will show. What a neat motor, perfect for what I want to showcase. Cut away all the fat, let the motor be the center of attention.

Here is my Micro Squirt ECU. Need to make some throttle bodies, mount a fuel pump, regulator, coils and a few sensors, wire it up. Sounds simple enough. Right?
