I am going to the Irish Treffen near Bandon County Cork, Ireland this weekend. If any of our fellow members are going please introduce yourself. I might even buy you a beer. I will be on a light blue GL1500 with a little mural of Dougal the dog on the rear of the top box.

They say WHY?, I say why not.
If God had intended motor cycles to be standard, he would'nt have given us the hacksaw.

Got back from Ireland today. The event was really great, only about 300 bikes, but the atmosphere was terrific.
Went on a ride out with a couple of friends, dam their roads are bad. 25mph on a small back road, 2 up on the 1500 and she botomed out twice on the bumps in a straight line. Really glad I never took the old 1100, although teh GL1100 enduro might have coped OK.
The beer and company was really worth the effort.
