Home made frame. Part of it used to be my wing.

Not that it is anything major but have not seen it on another wing. Up here in Canada it gets rather cold and having an old GL1000 one wants to keep the battery life as long as possible as is nasty trying to push start on the flats. Took off the old fairing as put on new 3 way blinkers and kept the lighted rear trunk. Due to the excessive current draw when starting up put a bank of 3 interrupter switches and rewired to control seperately the blinkers, trunk and headlight. After bike fires up throw them on when needed.
Whos a brilliant pup?

Did you make the forward controls or buy them?
I'm tall like you and with the current seat on my bike it isn't very comfortable. It puts me close to the tank with my ankles almost behind my hips.
What kind of seat are you using? I'm thinking a factory seat might be my best bet as I can slide back so my ass is behind my ankles.

Burn your butt crack yet?? Looks good. How long have you been riding and how is the Ballistic battery holding up? What kind of reg/rectifier? I have lots of questions!! Front view please?
