Need help with Wheel bearing removals

Hi,
I tried the split bolt method to try and budge my front wheel bearings on my 77 Gl to no avail.
Any other ideas? Please suggest away.

Just after my post I got an idea to try again and was able to get em out.

Glad you got them....I was going to suggest hit harder with a bigger hammer!

Wing rider that's actually the oposite of what I had to do.
When I first tried the split bolt method, I was trying to get the bolt to grab on the outer side of the inner race and it kept slipping. I tried many times making sure the split was streatched as wide as possible flush to the outside of the inner race.
Then I thought perhaps I should try expanding the bolt more to the inner side and I started with gradual hitting force and voila, it started to unseat.

Yep, a lot of times I found it easier to get the inner side to catch, and seemed to come out better. Always a good time when things get moving.
