Re: Building long fendered bike
Placed on the bike.I need 7/16" spacers,as I didn't build 'flare' where it bolts to legs.

Stepped seat pan to accommodate my wife(5'9") and me(6'2", 250) I'd have preferred something smaller, but I won't punish her with some medieval torture device. I have a hotrod 750 Bonneville in a rigid '65 frame, and I'll skip a passenger seat on that, lol.

Re: Building long fendered bike
There are some chrome bits that came with the bike,I'll likely black em out, including the rotor covers. I'm trying to get rid of anything chrome, just flat, satin,or gloss black. Toying with the idea of 4 long shotgun pipes with slip-ins. No inspection in Florida, unlike home. I need 1100 bars or mini-apes in black. Time to find the local powder- coater.

Re: Building long fendered bike
Been sick with bad congestion over a week, finally saw a doc. Not pnuemonia as suspected, and amoxicillin875mg has me up on my feet again.today's easy project was the mounting tongue on the Seatbase. 1/8" x1 1/4" aluminum flatstock folded and fastened with elevator bolts.why didn't I know about these years ago?
