Hi and welcome from Aust 6209...... Wider tyre means what ! one size up or 2 sizes up??? Are you going to use the standard rim?? You might need to divulge a bit more information... Whatever and however you want to modify an "early" wing its more than likely been done before..... Take some time and use the search function with your questions..... You will be surprised what turns up..

Re: Hi, new to ngwclub
Hi, Thanks for the response to my post. I put 82 wheels on my 80 wing, so I am running 120/90-18 up front,
and 130/90-16 in the rear, I want to put a 140/90-16 on it. so I have a 82 swing arm and my main question is
are they the same size between the frame where it mounts, I have sreached though old post and have not ran across any thing yet that specifies rather the 82 swing arm would fit the 80 frame. If any one knows a post that has the information that I need. It would be appreciated.
olchris to your coment, (OHH........ and i dont mean to sound abrupt, critical or offensive...)
I didn't find it abrupt, critical or offensive. Thanks again.

Re: Hi, new to ngwclub
Hey it's been awhile since I have been on this site I wanted to update in case anyone is interested on the question I had about the swing arm. The 82 swing arm is a perfect fit in the 80 frame for anyone wanting to run a 140/16 on there 80 /81 wing
