Handle bar clamp with GW emblem

Does anyone know if the handle bar clamp from the 1100's will work on an 84 1200 ? The 84 standard has a plastic shroud that covers the single clamps and looks cheap. Looking for one of these to go on an 84. The whole pattern for the 84 is 4" on center.

Will fit.
Seems you can get a brand new one on ebay or the aftermarket companies for around $25.

The ones I have are pretty toasty.
Great to keep these old 'Wings flying on down the road.

My 'Wing had one of those when I got it and the openings for the bars were just enough too big that it wouldn't clamp solidly. I changed to a set of original type clamps and it has been fine since. Besides, I thought it looked tacky.

I took one off one of the 'Wings I've had because the sun reflected off of it ... now I can't find the thing ....

Use the OEM bolts. The one that I had the bolts that came with the clamp stretched and I could never get the clamp tight enough. Once I went back to the OEM bolts the clamp worked perfectly.
