Looking for pics of OEM GL1100 mufflers cut open
I am considering restoring a set of 82 GL1100 exhaust pipes. Long story short the pipes have the typical rust rot near the rear mounts. I am thinking to cut open the cans, remove the rusted sections and replace with new sheet metal. Before I cut into the cans I would like to know what the structure is inside, if there are better and worse spots to cut in at, ect. Has anyone ever cut into a set of cans, got pics or know where to find more info?

I think I saw one once for the 1000 but can not seem to find it right now. Never seen one for the 1100 that I can recall.
