Great day! Great wheather! Started from Cle Elum around noon to try to make it up to DUGG in time for BBQ!!!

Riding was nice... Washington is nice. The forests and the wheather make me feel at home. We arrived at DUGG's "zoo" around 6pm and it was great! Such great hospiltality! It was great to meet his wife, Sunnbobb and Heraldhamster too! The welcoming, food and beer werewere all top notch!

Especially Sunnbobbs led zeppelin inspired gold wing is a impressive bike to look at!

It was also a relief to have some NGW members take at look at our bike, and I now im more confident that its running decent.

The evening went on quite late and after that we slept like babies...

Yesterday was great!

Great recommendation on 9 and 11 Sunnbobb! Beautiful drive up and around Seattle.

Thanks so much to DUGG and the Mrs! We had such a lovely time. It was great to meet everybody too. I really look forward to a time we can all get together again!

It was great meeting the Mr & Mrs west,. They are very nice people and I would welcome them anytime. It was good to meet Sunbobb too, nice guy. As far as Heraldhamster, well we've met, good guy.

Me and the wife rode with the Wests Friday, stopped for brunch at the Longhorn. Then headed down Whidbey island and showed them the sights. We made it to the ferry dock just as the ferry was coming in. We said our good byes and turned around and headed back home, about a 200mi day.

Waking up at DUGG's place was different than anything that I have ever experienced in my short period in the U.S! Because they had decent coffee!!!! Made me feel right back at home!!! After 3 large cups I felt ready to install the speedo cable he gave me. It was probably a tach cable as it was quite long, but after some creative routing its working like a charm!

After that we headed south together with DUGG and wife. Such a nice couple!

They showed us around the pretty parts until we came down to the Mukilteo ferry and it was time for them to turn around. After that we ran into traffic around Seattle before parking the bike at Amanda's friend and then taking a flight to Boston!

Marriage in Massachussets... nothing to do with the roadtrip, but anyway... Farmer girl meets butcher boy, love happens. Interesting to be at an american wedding, and at a farm too!

May 21:st

Came back to Seattle with the morning flight. Quite tired, but after a brunch with Amandas cousin, and then coffee with her friend that let us park the bike, we were ready to go. Getting out of Seattle was not so fun. People like to drive 2 meters behind you, and sometimes you can see them looking at their phones doing that. They cut in right in front you and pass on the right too...

Some time after getting out we just had take a break, so we found a perfect place by a river to nap. Wheather was nice!

Later we got on the pacific coast highway and things started to look really beautiful.

In the evening I realised I forgot to watch Sweden beat Canada in the dramatic hockey world championship final. Seems whenever I dont watch, they win!

I lost out to the GL1800's. I guess I didn't bolt enough chrome and lights on. Maybe they pick the winners by how much the bike weighs?

Good to hear that you two made it out of Seattle, people drive like idiots. Should be smooth riding for you until you hit LA again.

Yea DUGG I certainly would have voted for your bike! The prettiest one there, I'm sure!

Here are some pictures of our drive down mostly the 101 to Ilwaco.
