New to the forum here! Have had my GL1100 since this past summer. Picked it up bone stock aside from the black paint which I have since touched up a little and blacked out some other parts as well. But here are some other things I have done as well

16" bars
Hand built 3" straight pipes
2" lowering solid rear struts
Removed nearly all of the foam from the front seat and shaped it to my liking(its comfy!!)and it's just a temporary fix until I build a custom seat.
I have also cut off a large part of the crash bars around the bags and did away with the rear luggage rack.
Anyway, that's the most of it so far except for little things. I have a long way to go with it and will probably never stop changing things. Hope you guys like it. If not, I do so I don't care dancr :-D

Just start doing mock ups with my 1977 Gl1000, the design uses a single sided swing arm, will have a modern inverted fork front end along with custom fuel tank and seat. Let me know what you think...

Jwise76, that is looking pretty awesome! You should start a build thread and allow us photo junkies to follow along.
